Erasmus+ DiT-ENT Project Launched to Boost Youth Entrepreneurship and Digital

The Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation (DiT-ENT) Project has been launched in Kenya under the Erasmus+ Programme, with Savanna Initiatives supporting local implementation and stakeholder engagement.

The project aims to strengthen vocational education and training (VET) by equipping young people with entrepreneurial, digital, and work-readiness skills, while also building the capacity of Kenyan VET institutions to respond more effectively to labour market needs.

DiT-ENT focuses on improved cooperation between VET providers, businesses, and public institutions, ensuring training programmes are aligned with economic and social developments. A central component of the project is the development of online training programmes and a web-based support platform offering learning resources, networking opportunities, and peer support.

Key outputs include an online Training-of-Trainers programme for VET educators, an online skills programme for young people, and a digital training and networking environment accessible nationwide.

The project runs from December 2023 to November 2025 and is implemented by a consortium of European and Kenyan partners, with Savanna Initiatives contributing to dissemination and local coordination in Kenya.
